Fees are $220 per session, with sessions running for approximately 50 minutes. 

Babel Psychology uses Halaxy integrated payment system which is powered by Braintree/Paypal, which is protected by bank-grade encryption. As a security measure, card details are stored through this partner and not stored through Halaxy directly, so payment data is not stored with patient records and Halaxy cannot retrieve card details.

The session is charged to the nominated credit card automatically at the completion of the session.

We are able to process any applicable Medicare rebates on the day if you have a valid Mental Health Care Plan and referral from your GP or psychiatrist. At this stage, we are unable to bulk bill.

I can liaise directly with your provider to make the process smooth, coordinating with your case manager as needed.

You can access subsidised sessions with a referral from your GP or psychiatrist through a Mental Health Care Plan. You are able to claim a rebate for 10 individual sessions per calendar year (split as 6 + 4, with a review by your GP after the first six sessions). The Medicare rebate is $98.95 per session, which leaves an out-of-pocket cost of $115.05. Your GP can help you set up the referral so you can start accessing sessions. Some people will continue with therapy beyond the number of sessions per calendar year covered by Medicare. Some may choose to use their private health cover from then on. Please check with your private health fund to determine rebate.
